Introducing… HIT’s Winter Festival!
The autumn term is well underway so we are looking ahead to our Winter Festival of performances.
This year, we’re bringing the City of Music to Hertfordshire with two incredible performances from our talented theatre groups in Ware and Watford. Get ready to experience a magical celebration of music, theatre, and creativity. We are pleased to announce these shows are open for booking now.
Here’s everything you need to know about what’s on:
Watford Children & Youth Theatre: The City of Music
📅 Monday, December 9th, 7pm
📍 The Pump House, 5 Local Board Road, Watford, WD17 2JP
🎟️ Pay-what-you-decide, via TicketSource
Our Watford Children & Youth Theatre groups proudly present The City of Music—a devised show inspired by Jackie Morris’ beautifully illustrated stories ‘The Quiet Music of Gently Falling Snow’ and ‘The Silent Unwinding.’ The performers will take you on a magical journey of sound and storytelling, filled with music. This show will offer the perfect atmosphere to start the festive season! 🎶
Ware Young Adults: Musical Theatre Cabaret
📅 Wednesday, December 11th, 7pm
📍 Southern Maltings, Kibes Lane, Ware, SG12 7BS
🎟️ Pay-what-you-decide, via TicketSource
For a different kind of evening, join us in Ware for a Musical Theatre Cabaret. This energetic performance will showcase the group’s love of musical theatre, with renditions of great songs from some of the best-loved musicals. You can expect to hear hits from Mamma Mia, Chicago, Saturday Night Fever, and Shrek the Musical.
All Tickets are Pay-What-You-Decide
We believe theatre should be accessible to all, which is why all tickets for our Winter Festival are Pay-What-You-Decide. There’s no minimum or maximum, and any payments made will go towards supporting the work of Herts Inclusive Theatre. Your donations help us continue creating inclusive opportunities for children, young people, and adults of all abilities to participate in the arts.
As our Watford groups are incredibly popular, The City of Music has a three-ticket booking limit. This ensures every participant can have someone there to support them on the night.
Look Out for More Info
We’ll be sharing more exciting details about each show throughout the next couple of months, so keep an eye on our social media pages for sneak peeks and behind-the-scenes content from our amazing young performers.
Do share the show details with your family and friends – it would be great to end the year with nice, full audiences for our participants to perform for.
