HIT Operations and Participation Assistant

Herts Inclusive Theatre are looking for an Operations and Participation Assistant to join their small Hertfordshire based team.

The position is to support the organisation with the operational running of the office and participation department, providing administration and operational support ensuring the company runs as efficiently and smoothly as possible.

The position will report to the Creative Participation Manager, supervise the freelance workshop support assistants and work alongside other members of the HIT team including volunteers. The post will include evening and weekend work for which a TOIL system operates.

The position would be a hybrid of home and office working, the organisation’s office being based at the Holywell Community Centre in Watford. The position also requires visits to workshop and performance venues in and around Hertfordshire. The preferred applicant would be able to transport themselves and equipment between venues.

The post will initially be for 24 hours per week, this can be worked over three or four days. Office opening hours are Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm, the hours must be worked within this time unless otherwise stated.

Freelance Workshop Facilitator Pool

We are looking to expand our freelance pool of inclusive practitioners. We currently have roles available at our theatre groups in Hemel Hempstead, Stevenage and Harrow, as well as a range of commissioned projects and storytelling.
